If only he came with that cute sad dog and cosy fire, (eh hello summer where are you?) but none the less Rex stool is one rocking piece of furniture. The ideal desk companion to rock away rainey days like today and is even good for posture apparently.
It's been designed by Jens Kosak exclusively for Red Dog The Store, who is also the creative mastermind behind this guy. Rocking chairs are so last season really.

When Kitchen designer MadebyEd's, little girl asked him to make her a “chair like nobody else’s”, she quickly added it had to be shaped “like a shoe’! I like this girls style!...
And so MadbyEd was born, making bespoke and themed

I just recently stumbled across this Wood Bofin from Inishbofin, Connemara who makes these adorable wooden creations. I'm in love with that little rose stool! Check out his custom built traditional Inishbofin currach. Impressive.

Never thought I'd swoon over a block of wood until I discovered Rocker Lane Workshop. Master crafters of contemporary designer sustainable furniture, produced by hand from their workshop in
rural North Tipperary using reclaimed wooden boards. All very in vogue right now.
Available to purchase on line are the Carver chair (€280), Square Kid chair (€200) and Bench (€1000), other pieces are available on commission just contact Sean.
