My first festival - awhh!

Call me optimistic but they say tomorrow is going to be another warm day with summer like tendencies- two in a row, imagine. So with the prospect of actually enjoying the great outdoors this summer, how
adorable are these little teepee plays tents by Little Lemon Trees,  hand made from gorgeous patterned fabrics. What a cute little festival vibe you could get going in the garden- kinda want one myself!

Founder Elaine Keating also makes
lots of other fun and cute things for kids like these superhero and prince/princess capes, bean bags, and letter cushions.

Canter Canter

Too cute.
Hobby horses by Canter Canter, there's a little fellow to suit all tastes just take a peek in the stables .This guy is our favorite. Reckon they'd make great quirky design pieces in a hallway or sitting-room. Creator Liadain can also customise your very own little pony on request, simply contact her here and if you're in the Dublin area, you can buy Canter Canter's products at Beaux Bow's Boutique in Georges Street Arcade.

Grafik Fabrik

Pretty hard not to post everything by Grafik Fabrik aka Galway textile designer Olga Tiernan. Her graphic prints, inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese textiles make for some bold, edgy patterns. (My sofa is screaming out for one of those cushions!) Plus check out these chairs she up-cycles to designer buys. Her pieces are available to buy here and here,  or if you would like to create your own bespoke pattern she is open to commissions, drop her a line at grafikfabrik@gmail.com

Remember your 123's!

Nothing screams growing up in Ireland more so than a group of cailíní practicing their 123's does it? Well these happy little notebooks certainly took us back! Designer Ursula Celano draws on imagery from 'her Ireland' - Irish dancer's, iconic Dublin landmarks, the Aran Islands, Irish hedgerows - to create her fun patterned prints. The notebooks( €9.95 on her shop) are made in Dublin by a craft bookbindery with paper from managed forest and she is currently working on extending her designs to a range of aprons, bags and more so watch this space. Now a 123 and a 123...a 123 and a 123...123...123 !
