Me Auld China.They take vintage antique plates and customise them to create these beautiful hand-made cake stands,(prices start at €20), plus get this, their wonderful collection of gorgeous vintage china is available for rental, just think of the charming parties! And they also offer a bespoke service where they pimp your own plates,into cake stands. 'Plate Pimpin'! Love it.

Time Flies...laters 2011!

Love this fun little clock (€28) that appeared under our Christmas tree this year. Then we checked out the Irish maker, Jenny Walsh Design, and discovered these energetic furniture pieces, all limited edition and made to order. Looking forward to more finds in 2012.x

Ranelagh Popup Christmas boutique

Seen as we just mentioned the great Irish made pressie finds we spotted at Ranelagh's Christmas Boutique, here's a little taste of what to expect. The pop up market is located at the Ranelagh Arts centre from 10th to 18th December, 11am-6pm with late opening until 7pm on Thursday and Saturday. Well worth a visit with some of the best of Irish design talent under one roof.
