I LOVE these little wax silhouettes by This Little Studio. Niamh O'Connor is a self taught artist and lover of all things encaustic, that's hot wax painting to you and me!
If you send her a profile pic of yourself or anyone of your choosing - bride to be, best mate, even a beloved family pet, (apparently she gets lots of commissions of people sending in pics of their cats and dogs that have passed on!) she will create one of these little paintings from your image. She also currently runs workshops from the “Iontas Centre” in Castleblaney, Co.
